Yes, I always feel welcome and inspired here, your blog is very important to me as I am part Syrian from my mother and have many fond memories of my kindergarten in Aleppo, the restaurants there, the street foods, the home cooking. Even though I have not lived there very long it has stayed with me ever since and all my life I looked forward to the day I would have enough money to afford traveling and go to Aleppo to see my old friends and school. I luckily was able to go back a few weeks as a teenager. Times have changed now, though.
So, to me, this blog is where I go to connect back to that heritage, as my family is from the coast (we lived in Aleppo for a year because of my father’s job, and then went back to the country we live in now). I hope you will be able to keep it online, and if you ever have to take it down I really wish you can publish your recipes in a book that I can buy and keep forever.
