White Chocolate Orange Dream Cookies
October 19th, 2010
I’d like to thank my friends for the kind words and comments, and thanks to everyone who stopped by and left a comment, I appreciate that :)
These cookies are loaded with great orange flavor and white chocolate, they are perfect for citrus lovers like me :)
Let’s make White Chocolate Orange Dream Cookies:
1, 2 . Beat first 3 ingredients at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy.
3. Add egg, orange rind, and extract, beating until blended.
4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
5, 6. Gradually add to sugar mixture, beating just until blended after each addition.
7. Stir in white chocolate morsels.
8. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets (I rolled the dough into balls, each ball equals to 6 grams, then flattened the balls with my hand).
9. Bake at 350 °F (176.6 °C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheets 2 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.
10. Melt white baking bar and shortening in 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally, until smooth (4 to 6 minutes). Drizzle over cooled cookies.

Notes and Tips
I used butter.
I add orange rind of four oranges.
I didn’t have white chocolate morsles, so I used white chocolate bars, and cut the chocolate into chunks, I used 1 cup only of white chocolate chunks.
I got about 105 cookies.
The drizzle is optional, I used bain-marie to melt the chocolate, I’m not sure how many ounces or grams I used of white chocolate because I was working on many cookies.
Great cookies, perfect with a cup of coffee or tea!
